Nice To See You Alive Sherlock Holmes!!!!

the casts with the additional new one, Mary, second from the left
First of all, I want to apologize dear readers for not updating this blog for a while, and forgetting to write about the next episodes of I Hear Your Voice as I had promised. Well, my bad. I finished the drama a long time ago but I assure you, it's good and cute and it had a very nice ending.
Season 2 ended with this...The tomb of Sherlock Holmes
However this year, I just want to share my happiness of my long awaited reunion with my beloved Sherlock Holmes (it seem quite dramatic but I'm sure I'm not the only one in the world). So afte' yea's of waitin' (actually 2 years) and entertaining my self with Asian dramas, finally... SHERLOCK HOLMES!! YOHOO!!! I so miss Sherlock and John that I even get myself watch the American version of it, though it pales in comparison (sorry! It just feels like it lacks a lot of things). So guys! let us go to the other side of the globe..from Philippines, to South Korea, to Japan, and now London, England.

It's a nice New Years gift as in the first week I watched the BBC's season 3 of Sherlock Holmes. WARNING: SPOILERS ALERT!!

first meeting at the restaurant
Episode 1 is entitled The  Empty Hearse. In this first installment we get to watch Anderson's obsession of proving that Sherlock is alive (I clearly remember how antagonistic he is towards my husband...hikhikhik). Among  all the friends of Sherlock (though he has very few) and his acquaintances, only Anderson believed he's still roaming the earth in flesh and bone. In Season 2 (I so love the last episode), I was shocked like everybody else when Sherlock jumped off the hospital building. And we all heard the moving words of John Watson during the burial "Just one more thing Sherlock, one more miracle for me...don't be dead..stop this"...and I cried with him. I mourn with him. Well that's all in the past as Sherlock Holmes is very  much alive. Well actually there's a hint at the end of the second season, but how..HOW? (sorry Sherlock I borrowed your favorite interrogative word). Watch the answer yourself (hehehe), but I can tell you it's all about trick and drama like the theater (sorry borrowed again your words dear).
the lovely reaction of Mrs. Hudson seeing Sherlock for the first time after 2 years (on top of that she was there when he was buried)

But it's really funny how he thinks things were the same as it was before. He was expecting that after the trauma he caused John Watson he will welcome him with warm hug and welcoming words. He was not so prepared with his anger, and was surprise to learn that his friend, his only friend has a girl and is about to be engaged (and oh how he ruined the romantic proposal of John to Mary). The brawl in the restaurant really released the anger of John. I really laughed every time Sherlock opens his mouth to say or explain something, John would give him a nice punch in the face. And speaking of Mary, she has a nice character,  really she suits John. She finds Sherlock interesting and amusing. I like how she like the deep friendship between the two men. When John was abducted (again) and in danger she didn't hesitate asking for Sherlock's help, and how she used her wits to know that the messages sent to her was not just a spam but a code. It's quite funny though how I sense the jealousy of Sherlock on the new found love of John.I just hope that the woven good character of Mary will be until forever...I know they will not disappoint me :)))
Sherlock and Mary. John? underneath the bonfire
Actually, the case in this episode is not really the focus (though I know that it has to do with the future cases..by the way, where is Moriarty?) but it is more about Sherlock's return and his attempt to comeback to the life of the people he left behind, especially John. But I am actually touched at Lestrade's reaction when Sherlock appeared to him.. I mean he hugged him.....and that is just so sweet..

Well Sherlock solved the case (as he always do, that's just him....sooo brilliant). And yeah before I forgot, you get to meet also the parents of Sherlock. Yes, Mycroft and him actually have parents, they are not just some babies coming from some lab that are genetically modified. John grew a beard, Anderson also and both of them aged with that look.

I feel that in this episode, there are some changes in the life and lifestyle of both Sherlock and John. It is the same that is not the same(get me?) . Well for the coming Adventures.. I will be waiting. And I'm intrigue at how they will fit Mary into the story and make her more interesting. Oh, and I hope also Molly Hooper will be happier this time.

       That's it. He's back....
221B Baker Street is open to accept cases!!!!
